都市に異質な何かを突出させるのではなく、
あたかも最初からそこにあったかのような、
それでいて、いつの間にか都市の景観を変
貌させる事が可能なものにしたいと考えました。

モチーフがモチーフなので、自転車を停める所
作も優しくなるでしょうし、そこに、自転車を乗
せる事で、車輪の花が咲き、花畑が面的に広
がっていくように、その空間の性質を変容させ
る事が出来るのではと考えました。

We designed this bicycle rack to be natural and
appealing in the city landscape.

The rack represents a flower bud,
expressing tenderness, while the bicycle
wheel provides the flower’s bloom.

The bicycle racks transform the city into a field
of flowers, bringing warm feelings to everybody.
